    • Also, all students not turning in a completed essay will have to make contact home regarding this assignment since it worth so many point

  • Make sure ALL directions are followed in order to receive full credit on this assignments
  • Students found to be using work that they did not create as their own will receive a ZERO for this project and will not be able to make this up
    • That means NOT COPY AND PASTING FOR ANYTHING IN THIS PROJECT

  • NOTES must be taken during the movie
    • Note information was given in class, make sure you are taking notes on the correct stuff so it will be easier to write later.

  • Sadly, very few people completed the assignment you had. In order to receive credit you must have it in before Monday morning (7:45am).
  • Project Grading
    • Choose a group of 5 people. Find a computer away from other groups (like the back row could have a group by the wall, one in the middle and one by the printer, though other rows should have no more than 2 groups per row).
    • ALL group members must be able to see the computer the group is using!
      • If I see someone not watching/helping grade they will lose points and will be asked to go to the SRC. No warnings will be given
    • Choose 1 group recordered/grader
      • Send a person to get 5 grading sheets (each page has 4 so you will need 1 page and 1 half page)
    • Each person in the group is going to pull up and show ALL THREE elements of their project to the group
      • Article
      • Timeline
      • PowerPoint
    • Using the grading sheet, score each person's project
      • Now remember these have all been sent to Mrs. Ferris for grading as well so the grades need to be accurate and match
      • If someone is missing an element it is a ZERO
      • Also, the addition 22 points for this project will come from having emailed/printed your project
    • When ALL members have presented
      • Choose the Best PowerPoint
      • Choose who will present the group's Best PowerPoint
      • Circle the grading sheet of the person with the best so Mrs. Ferris knows
    • Presentations for Best PowerPoint will earn extra points (for creator and presenter)
    • Presentations will be done on Monday

    • 4th Hour, make sure you are in your assigned seats and NOT moving around

  • According to the sub, the reason some of you did not get your work turned in is because you did not use your time wisely. I am not going to debate this since I was not here. You can still turn in your work from yesterday BUT in order to get full credit you must do EIGHT (8) annotations instead of FOUR (4). Those who turned it in yesterday are all set. Those people are:

  • Reflect on the following questions and write your thoughts:
    • What are your thoughts as the anniversary of 9/11 approaches (2-3 sentences)
      • Do you have questions/concerns
    • What are somethings that have happened as a result of 9/11
    • List some examples of stereotypes you have heard/seen about groups of people
      • Think beyond the video and discussion
  • Go online and find an article about a 9/11 event (does not have to be local)
    • Describe the event and what you think of it
  • Save this document in your Media Analysis Folder in the History Folder as Reflection
